Benjamin Ernest Charlton

Benjamin Ernest Charlton (b 12 April, 1835 in Brant County, Upper Canada - d 12 March, 1901) was the mayor of Hamilton, Ontario from 1867 and 1873-1874. In addition to his activities as a politician, Charlton was also a teacher and manufacturer.
Charlton is buried in Hamilton Cemetery. [1]
