Benetutti is a comune (municipality) in the Province of Sassari in the Italian region Sardinia, located about 140 km north of Cagliari and about 60 km southeast of Sassari. As of 31 December 2004, it had a population of 2,128 and an area of 94.4 km².[1]

On its countryside several archaeological remains, dating since prehistory, have been discovered, like "Giant's tombs" (Bronze Age collective graves), "domus de janas" (hypogaean neolithic graves) and several "nuraghi" (megalithic Bronze Age towers). An example of Roman ruin is the bath-pool on the Saint Saturnino's thermes. In fact Benetutti is well known also for its thermal sources, famous since the ancient times and probably related to the name of the village. (Benetutti can be related to Sardinian "bena 'e tottu" meaning "everyone's fountain") In the village there are three private resorts and many public sources where to benefit of the water benefic power.

One of the most famous inhabitants of the village was Francesco Cocco Ortu, who was a minister of the previous Italian monarchy.

In the main church you can also admire a picture of Giovanni del Giglio e Aiuti, generally called "Maestro di Ozieri", painted in 1549.

Even the other churches of the village are nice and worth visiting. There are nearly ten, and for that reason Benetutti is one of the villages with the biggest number of churches in the region

Benetutti borders the following municipalities: Bono, Bultei, Nule, Nuoro, Oniferi, Orani, Orune, Pattada.
