Bender Qassim International Airport (IATA: BSA, ICAO: HCMF), also known as Bossaso Airport or Bosasso Airport, is the second largest airport in Somalia. It is located on the outer edge of the city of Boosaaso at Longitude 49° 9' 0" E Latitude 11° 16' 32" N. The airport is undergoing major construction of both a new terminal building and a runway.

[edit] Construction
On 22.11.2007, the senior leaders of the government of Puntland as well as CORMIO Engineering Company, who are the people undertaking the construction of the Bossaso airport runway were at the runway where the President of Puntland Mahmoud Muse Hersi laid the first foundation stone of the runway and the work officially began. The main terminal building is also being build from scratch with the economical support of the local authority.
