Benjamin Joseph Wysocki (b. November 26, 1984) is the drummer for Colorado-based piano rock band The Fray.
Wysocki has said he wanted to be a "rock and roll drummer" from a very young age. Amongst others, Ben cites Ringo Starr (The Beatles) and Jack Irons (formerly Red Hot Chili Peppers) as his primary influences. He started playing the drums when he was in seventh grade for a band named Ember with The Fray lead singer Isaac Slade and guitarist Dave Welsh. [1]
Ben likes to spend his free time taking pictures.
His surname - Wysocki is Polish, there are over 30,000 people in Poland who have the same name (including Piotr Wysocki, a leader of the November Uprising against the Russians in 1830).
