Kozel's films, are co-produced for National Geographic Television. They have collectively won ten awards including Best Adventure Film at Mountainfilm in Telluride. Expeditions Kozel has undertaken include the first descent of the Yenisey River and a descent of the Amazon along with Canadian adventurer Colin Angus.[citation needed]
