Ben Knight (born 1977 in Long Island, New York), is an installation artist and designer (primarily using typographic design management skill and practice, though he has extensive experience with information design, and interface design). He has given numerous lectures on art and design. He sometimes is referred to simply as "The Bennie". His artwork has been shown by independent curator and gallerist, Willoughby Sharp. In 2002, Knight joined the United Nations in New York City. There he started working closely with Maxim Zhukov to help with multilingual typographic design teaching, solutions, and co-ordination. Knight took over the responsibility UN typographic co-ordination when Zhukov retired in 2004 from the UN.

As a teenager he began work on the feature film, Threat. He quickly moved up the ranks on this production and became the production designer for the film. Also when he was a teenager, he was a prolific graffiti writer that helped and influence his formative typographic learning. He has also been the voice for many punk rock and hardcore punk related bands.

He is a very good friend of the guitarist Craig Bonich of Head Automatica. Knight has assisted with some graphics and artwork for Head Automatica as well. He has done design work and artwork for many commercial and non-commercial clients.

Knight still currently works full time for the UN.
