Minor Harry Potter characters

Sorry if I offended you. I would argue that the Wizards of the Month section would actually fit in the article under criteria 5 of WP:NB: "The book's author is so historically significant that any of his or her written works may be considered notable, even in the absence of secondary sources." I would also argue the fact that there is in fact a secondary source (Rowling's website) makes it all the more worthy for inclusion. I'm not going to revert your edit again, as that's rather rude, but I would ask that you re-include the section. Thanks. GlassCobra 15:31, 15 August 2007 (UTC)

As you said, she did write it and it would be counted as being published because it's on her website. You are also correct in that there are plenty of websites out there where people can make up and write whatever kind of story they want to and post it, but do they have Rowling's notability? I point you again to criteria 5: ""The book's author is so historically significant that any of his or her written works may be considered notable." Seems pretty clear to me. GlassCobra 15:46, 15 August 2007 (UTC)
I would argue that they are indeed minor characters in the series. I know that at least one has in fact been mentioned in the books as the inventor of the Cheering Charm, but the others would be considered "in-universe" as an official supplemental to the books as written by the author. GlassCobra 15:48, 15 August 2007 (UTC)
I certainly can't think of another place to put it, unless you were to make a "Supplemental characters of Harry Potter" article, but I think that the section ought to stay. GlassCobra 15:51, 15 August 2007 (UTC)

Orphaned non-free media (Image:OliverTwist cover.jpg)

Thanks for uploading Image:OliverTwist cover.jpg. The media description page currently specifies that it is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. Re:WP:WARRIORS

A rating for the templates would be nice though I have no idea how to make it either. I haven't been on for a while. -=Elfin=-341 21:32, 21 August 2007 (UTC)

This is quite a big task and I have currently limited time. I could add some code to the template, some at a time. Just let me know what you are really thinking about. Should it start with just "Quality" and "Priority" classes, is that the right place to start. :: Kevinalewis : (Talk Page)/(Desk) 12:59, 23 August 2007 (UTC)

Did you mean a page something like our Worklist page. :: Kevinalewis : (Talk Page)/(Desk) 13:10, 23 August 2007 (UTC)
I have made the changes I believe are necessary for the support of a few extra parameters, the two main ones are "class" for the quality assessments and "priority" for the urgency, priority or importance assessments that some projects use. I have left in code for "attention" and "auto" should you wish to use those. Hope it all works and this of use to you all. :: Kevinalewis : (Talk Page)/(Desk) 10:26, 4 September 2007 (UTC)

Conversely, if you do not wish to be considered a member of the WikiProject, leave your name where it is and it will be moved to the Inactive Contributors section. If you wish to make a clean break with the Project you may move your name to the Known to have left section. Many thanks.

edward

wow, i just finished new moon, and i quite seriously doubt that i could ever fall for a human again. i was crying thw whole break up. who do you think should play edward in the movie? and bella? im not sure yet... —Preceding unsigned comment added by Sophiakorichi (talkcontribs) 00:16, August 25, 2007 (UTC)

i finished new moon yesterday, and yes, it was awesome, but i liked twilight better. probably because edward was in all of it, not just the beginning and end. my prefrance for edward is tom sturrage, or gaspard ulliel. i cant decide. i kind of want an unknown to play bella, but i think emily could pull her off. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Sophiakorichi (talkcontribs) 19:09, August 25, 2007 (UTC)

Scratch that...gaspard ulliel is definately my choice for edward...see? http://gaspardulliel.elitefan.net/albums/photoshoots/set_10/010.jpg and http://gaspardulliel.elitefan.net/albums/photoshoots/set_10/012.jpg. wow. Sophiakorichi 22:54, 25 August 2007 (UTC)Sophiakorichi

i, being the complete obsessive that i am when it comes to books, went to youtube and looked at all these new moon/twilight fan made trailors, and i think emily beowning or emmy rossum are my picks for bella. yes, gaspard ulliel is french, but he could pull it of, im sure (even though i havent actually seen him in anything...) still. hes perfect. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Sophiakorichi (talkcontribs) 23:19, August 25, 2007 (UTC)

sorry i couldn't help but add my own opinion on the books Twilight, New Moon and Eclipse. i was completely drawn into the books and did enjoy reading them, but i find love at first sight and relationships where people think they need to kill themselves because they are so in love with someone irritating, immature and extremely unrealistic. i'm not bashing the book in anyway it was a perfect portrayal of adolescent love, raging hormones and the like, but i do think its a bit much to have bella and edward actually talk about getting married. plus i think the book would have been a bit more enjoyable if the whole love-triangle situation had been handled a bit better. it was almost like bella was too stuck on edward for a love-triangle to even exist. normally when an author uses a love-triangle the two guys both like the girl(as is done) but the girl can't decide between the two guys. it creates suspense because the reader has no idea which guy she'll chose and that is the whole purpose of a love triangle. when the girl is so completely and totally obsessed with one guy there is no suspense and makes the story less interesting because the reader knows the ending without having to finish the book. the author has been doing really well getting books sold though, and her take on vampires was very interesting —Preceding unsigned comment added by 129.120.244.50 (talk) 22:16, 20 February 2008 (UTC)
