[edit] Crimpville Comments
Does anyone have access to a small privately producted publication from the mid 1970's called "Crimpville Comments"?
This 4-6 page monthly news letter was produced by the former owner of Mike's Variety store (deceased) and the store, once located at the intersection of North Main (Rte. 126) and High St., is also no longer there.
The publication was distributed in the local schools, and featured many articles about life in the area more than 100 years ago, often highlighting railroad news durring the golden age of steam. The centerfold was almost always a class graduation picture from Center school, or south school, at the turn of the century.
The name Crimpville was the old village name for the north/central part of town, while Carryville was the name of the southern end of town. Lefick (talk) 15:00, 28 March 2008 (UTC)
