I think this need to be reworked with details, more objective tone and more references.

That material was taken whole (by me!) from Greg Goebel's site. I didn't mean to leave it unedited this long. It is PD material, so it doesn't have to be rewritten, but I usually do anyway, as Greg's writing style is different from Wikipedia's standards. I removed the politics part from the sentence. There were several problems that caused delays with the AH-56 with a lot of them being technical. -Fnlayson (talk) 19:53, 13 December 2007 (UTC)
I have no quarrel with discussing politics, but the way that was worded it sounds like hearsay. Yes they had rotor vibration issues with the Lockheed rigid rotor system. A lot of technical issues were ironed out by the time the political football was punted. If anyone knows actual details of the politics, I'd love to read it; and technical as well.--THE FOUNDERS INTENT ^TALK 22:33, 13 December 2007 (UTC)
