[edit] Copyright violation, plot summary needs rewrite
I reverted the copyright violation tag. This should not have been tagged thusly, while removing the entire article. The plot summary is a very long quote, and I have added the reference to it.
It is much better put as a wikify tag, which I have done. The plot summary needs a complete rewrite, as it does not conform very well to wikipedia quality standards, and is mostly copied from a press release about the movie. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Fredsmith2 (talk • contribs) 09:16, 5 September 2007 (UTC)
- It's not at all clear to me that the press kit gives you formal permission to distribute a quote under the GFDL, which is the metric for placing stuff on Wikipedia. But it's also pretty clear to me that the press kit people would probably want to see this placed here, so I'm leaving it in - quoting is what people do with a press kit. But formally, the rewrite may be a "derived work", and it's possible that this is not permissible. Copyright law is a minefield. Sigh. --Alvestrand 19:15, 10 October 2007 (UTC)

- What happened was a long time ago, someone took a few paragraphs from the press kit and pasted them into wikipedia. Then someone else completely removed the page and put up a bunch of weird tags because it was an exact quote. Then, I put back everything and rewrote the exact quote from the press kit, rewording it completely, but continuing to reference it, so it wasn't violating copyright laws and so I could remove the weird tags. The article still needs expanding and more sources, though. Fredsmith2 21:20, 10 October 2007 (UTC)
