Belridge Senior High School is a secondary school located in Beldon, a suburb of Perth, Western Australia.
[edit] History
The high school opened in 1990, when it came online for Year 8 students. Belridge was primarily opened to reduce overall demand at Ocean Reef Senior High School due to high demand for its advanced programs and its inability to take students from within its primary catchment area. From its opening in 1990 until 1995, Belridge progressively expanded its age range until it became a full secondary school in 1995 when its first class of graduating Year Twelve students commenced their studies.
The school generally enters the Rock Eisteddfod Challenge every second year and has managed to win numerous times such as in 2003, 2005 and 2007.
