Belonging is a Welsh television drama series, produced by BBC Wales and screened on the BBC One network during a national opt-out section from the UK feed. As such it is only available to viewers in Wales via analogue or digital terrestrial broadcast. Viewers throughout the UK can watch it over the internet, however, using the BBC iPlayer, or by using the Sky Digital satellite television service.
The programme revolves around the lives of the Lewis family, and their various trials and tribulations in the changing environment of their South Wales town Bryncoed and modern Wales. The programme began in 1999, and its ninth series started in april 2008 and ended in June. This is the last ever series of Belonging and it will return for a one off special next year, which is a 10 year reunion of the Lewis family.
