Bello of Carcassonne

Bello also known in Latin as Borellus Ausonus (born 755 died 812) was of mixed Visigoth and Arab ancestry. He was the son of Guillaume I de Rases and Susu Bint Uthman de Cordoba, and the first known Count of Carcassonne.

Bello stands at the head of the Bellonid Dynasty of Carcasson and Razes which reached its apex in Wilfred the Hairy who is usually regarded as the progenitor of the House of Barcelona.
