Belle River, Louisiana

Belle River is a small unincorporated community in the U.S. state of Louisiana. It is situated on the eastern side of the Belle River, between the Intracoastal Waterway (alternate route) and Lake Verret. It is in Assumption Parish on Louisiana State Route 70 about 5-6 miles (8-9 km) south of Pierre Part and about 14 miles (21 km) north of Morgan City.
