Bella Unión is a city located to the North of the department of Artigas, on the eastern bank of the Uruguay River, opposite Monte Caseros, Corrientes, Argentina. It is also in the limit with Brazil, as it is located in a kind of corner in the norther place of the country. Its population, as of 2004, is 13,510.
