Belinda Giblin
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Belinda Giblin (b. 1950) is an Australian actress, born in Tamworth, New South Wales.
She is best known in Australia for her roles as Kay Webster in the risqué, satirical 1970s soap opera The Box and as the scheming Alison Carr in the 1980s melodrama Sons and Daughters. Famously, the Alison Carr character was in reality revealed to be the post-plastic surgery incarnation of the show's original and much vaunted villain, 'Pat The Rat' - Patricia Hamilton, originally played by Rowena Wallace. The audience knew this from the beginning of Giblin's time on the show, but the show's other characters did not. Other television roles include appearances in The Sullivans, Alvin Purple (1976), Bluey (1976), Heartbreak High, Skyways, Home and Away and Good Guys, Bad Guys.
She starred in the feature film Petersen in 1974. Today she remains busy in the theatre.
