Belgica ordinarily denotes the Roman province of Gallia Belgica.

• In the Roman province, a mixture of Germanic and Gaulish peoples were referred to by Romans as Belgae
• The Seventeen Provinces of the Low Countries, later divided in:
  • Belgica Foederata or the federal Dutch Republic
  • Belgica Regia or the royal Southern Netherlands
• The kingdom of Belgium revived the toponym in a new form in 1830.
• RV Belgica has been the name of two Belgian scientific research vessels, of 1884 and 1984.
  • The Belgian Antarctic Expedition was named after the first Belgica.
• Belgica (genus), a genus of flies
• The Belgica Mountains in Antarctica were named after the first research vessel.
• The Belgica Mounds are seamounts in the Porcupine Bight in the NE Atlantic. They were named after the RV Belgica which investigated these features during a scientific cruise in 1997.
