Belford railway station is a closed station located on CityRail's Hunter line. Until September 4, 2005, when it was closed for safety reasons,[1] it served the town of Belford in New South Wales, Australia.
The station consists of 2 platforms approximately 3 metres long. Until its closure, the station contained various safety features, including lighting and security cameras. Passengers would have to cross the tracks to access both platforms. Nearby is the New England Highway which links Newcastle and Brisbane.
