Belecthor I is a fictional character in J. R. R. Tolkien's legendarium.
Belecthor was the fifteenth Ruling Steward of Gondor. He was born in T.A. 2545 and succeeded his father, Húrin II, at his death in T.A. 2628. The Corsairs of Umbar were the major threat to Gondor at the time, although no major events are recorded.
Belecthor had two children: his daughter, Morwen, and son Orodreth.
He was succeeded by his son Orodreth at his death in T.A. 2655.
