Belbase

Belbasé / Belbase is a surname from the hilly regions of central Nepal. Kumar Belbasé was one of the founding members of the Marxist-Leninist Party of Nepal. The origin of the name appears to come from a village called "Bel Bas" which roughly translates as "Place of Rest (or overnight stay) under a Bel tree".Belbase is a place in Peuthan District of Nepal. The migrants from Belbas became Belbase. They have their family god "Dudhe Mosta" and they belong to "Madhu Kalya Gotra".
