Beladingala Baale (Kannada: ಬೆಳದಿಂಗಳ ಬಾಲೆ) is a 1995 Kannada movie starring Anant Nag. It is based on a Telugu novel titled Vennelalo Aadapilla by Yandamoori Veerendranath which was translated into Kannada by Vamshi titled Beladingala Baale. It was later serialised in Prajavani, a Kannada daily newspaper. Both the Kannada and Telugu titles loosely translate to "lady in the moonlight."

The movie revolves around a chess grandmaster who gets telephone calls from an unknown woman fan; on the phone, she more than matches his wits and moves in chess. She does not reveal her name but calls herself the "lady in the moonlight." The story progresses as the protagonist tries to reach her by the various clues she gives him. Whether he succeeds in solving these clues and finally get to her forms the climax of the story.
