[edit] Birkat Hamazon
I reverted your edit for the time being because using "HaShem" to refer to God in the context of an encyclopedia article presenting a translation of this traditional Jewish prayer accurately reflects traditional Jewish practice. See Names of God in Judaism#HaShem. Feel free to discuss this issue further on Talk:Birkat Hamazon. Best, --Shirahadasha 00:14, 5 September 2007 (UTC)
Hi! Looking at the article history I see that you attempted to make this change before and your edit was previously reverted by other editors who disagreed. Given this history, I would urge you to discuss this issue on Talk:Birkat Hamazon and attempt to persuade other editors. I see from your edit summary that you believe use of "HaShem" is inappropriate for Wikipedia articles. I would suggest explaining either on Talk:Birkat Hamazon, or perhaps Wikipedia Talk:WikiProject Judaism if you would like this rule applied generally, why you believe this. Please take a look at Wikipedia's consensus policy which explains the importance of discussing issues with other editors when there is a disagreement.
