I think this claim needs a more authoritive source than the one given in the article, which is merely a review. It needs to be supported by statements from the director or writer. LDHan 09:29, 9 April 2007 (UTC)

How about: "Thought to be an indirect remake of..."? Of course a more authoritative source, once found, would be even better. --Plastictv 12:20, 9 April 2007 (UTC)
I've changed it to "According to one review, it is an "indirect remake" of Vittorio De Sica's 1948 classic The Bicycle Thief" for now. LDHan 23:21, 9 April 2007 (UTC)
