Beit Gamliel is a moshav in Israel southeast of the city of Yavne. It is lightly populated.Established 1949 with immigrants from Romania, Czechoslovakia, Hungary and North Africa.In the 1970's many educated Israeli and English speaking couples bought farms in the Moshav and the population increased. In the late 1990's over 100 smaller lots of land were allocated and houses built on them. The quality of life changed for the better and the Moshav became a very beautiful place. Most of the people today are Israeli born academics , and many children. Population 2007 approx. 1200.
