Beit Avraham

Beit Avraham is the chosen name of a number of communities of northern Ethiopia, claiming Jewish heritage. The community is regarded by some as a crypto-Jewish off-shoot of the Beta Israel community.[1] The size of the community is estimated to be somewhere upwards of 50,000 in number.
