Beijing south railway station is a railway station on the south side of Beijing, China. It was also known as Yongdingmen railway station, and is being renovated and is scheduled to reopen on August 1, 2008, before the 2008 Summer Olympics. It replaces a 109-year-old railway station and the new station is about 500 metres away from the old one. It is scheduled to become a third major transportation hub for Beijing, after the Beijing railway station and the Beijing west railway station.
