Beijing Nanyuan Airport

Beijing Nanyuan Airport is an airport in Beijing, People's Republic of China (IATA: NAY, ICAO: ZBNY). Primarily a military airfield, it is equipped with a terminal capable of handling 1.2 million passengers per year and presently serves as the base of China United Airlines. All Nippon Airways is considering starting scheduled charter services from Tokyo-Haneda in time for the 2008 Beijing Olympics.[1]
In 2007, Nanyuan Airport witnessed extraodinary growth. The total passenger served increased by 150.3%, reaching 75,3415, total freight loaded/unloaded reached 7999 tonnes, which was a 273.3% increase of the previous year. Traffic movements also had a very strong growth rate of 105.9% percent, registering 7111[2].
