    Hi, I think that we should leave the "Recorded" section in the infobox blank because we dont know when he started recording for this album. it was initially going to be released in 2007 so it could hav ebeen part-recorded in late 2006. Also we dont even know if the recorded tracks ar egoing to be kept. I personally think that he will scrap it and start a new album for the title Before I Self Destruct.     I just added it based on what we know at the moment. Also, this album was not going to be released in 2007, Curtis is to be released in 2007, he just decided to rename the 2007 album, it was originally "Before I Self Destruct", then he renamed it to "Curtis". He decided to use this title for his 2008 album. Anything could happen, that is why the "Future Album" template is here, and if something does happen, then we can always change it. --- Realest4Life 14:38, 16 August 2007 (UTC)
    In the track "The End Of My Career" (An excerpt of a radio interview) 50 Cent says the following (exactly):
    “ Some people think I changed the title of my album from "Before I self Destruct" to "Curtis" but what I did was, I changed albums. I had "Before I Self Destruct", I recorded 12 songs under that actual topic and then I created the material that is under "Curtis" and I felt like this album should come out right now and "Before I Self Destruct" gonna be my followup record so im probably 3 or 4 records away from creating my next album at this point. And I signed a 5 album deal with interscope so this "Curtis" is my third album and "Before I Self Destruct" is scheduled to be released February 4 which will be the anniversary of "Get Rich Or Die Tryin'" and my final studio recording album because the fith album in my recording contract is a greatist hits album so technicaly Im about 3 songs away from cokpleting my music career. ”

    This needs to be put as TBA. It's March 11th and no talk of an album drop has occurred. The fact that no promotion for the album has occurred either gives all clues as to this release being TBA.     released 4th quarter of winter 2008 does not make sense because the album has not been released yet (duhh) i tried changing it to release date, but in doing that, it deleted the whole that whole part I was trying to fix.
