[edit] sense?

Does anybody realize that the phrase "Bedri Baykam is an internationally known figure in Turkey." makes no sense? How can you be internationally known in one country? lol.--Hibernian 17:04, 12 October 2006 (UTC)

He is known in Turkey as a neo-conservative. He supports the coups and attends anti-democratic demonstrations. He is not a leftist by any standart.
