[edit] Notable Residents

Speaking as the "moron" who deleted them from the list of notable residents, who are "China" and the brother of Ronald McDonald? (The brother of a fictional clown?)

Notable means people have heard of them - I live one town away from Bedford and they're news to me. I will delete them again, but perhaps the anon could provide a good explanation for returning and maintaining them (preferably one without "morons" - wikipedia isn't Usenet). One way of doing this is to turn them into wikipedia links, then follow them, thus creating a page for that person, where their biography details could be placed. - DavidWBrooks 17:25, 29 Apr 2005 (UTC)

"Chyna" not "China"
I believe they are referring to the former pro wrestler Joanie Laurer, who went by the name Chyna. She's actually from Londonderry, but she might have a house in Bedford. 208.5.197.130 21:13, 28 October 2005
Speaking as someone who has been and will be adding notable residents to this page, as well as others, I hope that providing a reference to indicate that they already qualify as noted will prevent their deletion. Such listings as these can also provide a way to provide "virtual stubs" for those people who do qualify as notable but do not yet have their own pages. I am in the process of myself creating or adding to the lists of people from virtually everywhere, which takes up rather a lot of time and at this point precludes creating pages on each and every name I find.
