Bedwyn railway station is a railway station in the village of Great Bedwyn in the county of Wiltshire in England. The station is served by local services operated by First Great Western from London Paddington Reading and Newbury which terminate here; two of the peak services to Bedwyn are extended; one to Westbury and the other to Frome. The station is also served by 2 additional HSTs a day on Mondays-Saturdays to Exeter St. David's and Taunton. Bedwyn does have a problem with HSTs and having a short platform; it can only take 4 carriages. On Sundays, Bedwyn is served every 2 hours by local services - which start and terminate at Bedwyn - going to London Paddington.
Inter-city trains from London Paddington to the West Country pass through the station without stopping. The next station on the line heading west is Pewsey, but few trains serve both stations.
