BedandBreakfast.com is an Internet-based Bed and Breakfast directory and travel agency, part of ELG Hospitality, Inc., headquartered in Austin, Texas, USA. It displays information on roughly 6,500 bed and breakfasts, and enables bed and breakfast and inns reservations, and sells gift certificates redeamable at 4,000 Inns and B&Bs across the United States and Canada on its website and through retailers like Wal-mart, CVS Pharmacy, Safeway, and Office Depot. BedandBreakfast.com serves customers worldwide via the World Wide Web and through telephone travel agents. Founded in 1995 by Eric Goldreyer under the name Inns and Outs, the company acquired the url BedandBreakfast.com in 1998 and changed it's name to match. The company was sold to Worldres, Inc. based in San Mateo, CA in 1999. In 2002, Eric Goldreyer acquired the company back from Worldres, Inc., and in 2004 moved its location from Denver, Colorado to Austin, Texas.
BedandBreakfast.com is a division of ELG Hospitality, Inc. ELG Hospitality, Inc., also owns and operates Inns.com, an Internet-based directory that features independent hotels, and RezOvation, a provider of a property management system to bed and breakfasts, hotels, and inns.

In 2006, Real Simple magazine named BedandBreakfast.com's gift certificates as one of the Top 50 Gifts under $50. Innstar B&B Guidebook Review named BedandBreakfast.com the top-rated internet bed and breakfast inns directory.
Of note, estimates vary on the number of bed and breakfasts and inns in the world. In the United States alone, some put the number over 20,000 properties.
