[edit] Pending Projects
I have requested an article on my Grandfather, Rev. Edward R. Skane. He passed away in February of 2001. I would consider him a notable figure. He wrote four books (I believe, it could have been three), was a televangelist in California at one point, built many churches across the country and was a well know preacher in the non-denominational community. He ended his career at a small church in Presque Isle, Maine where he had a large flock for such a sparsely populated area. I don't believe I can write it because I am his granddaughter, but I am not sure who could write it. Most of his accomplishments were before the internet age. His son, my father, was also murdered in a very high profile crime case by the mob back in 1978. But the Boston Globe online archives do not go back that far. Let me know if you can help!
