Becky Want

Becky Want (also known as Rebecca Elizabeth Want) is presently a presenter on BBC Radio Manchester in the northwest of England. She previously worked on the Piccadilly Gold radio station, also in Manchester

She hosts a show every Saturday morning between 10am and 1pm, entirely dedicated to shopping, often conducting live outside broadcasts from shopping centres such as the Trafford Centre, in Manchester. On Sundays, her show revolves around a nostalgic look at two years gone by. Her slot was extended last month after the death of Antony Wilson as his show, 'Talk of the Town', was axed.

Becky Want presented the 'Livetime' programmes on the Granada Sky Broadcasting TV station Granada Breeze. She also presented 'Predictions With Derek Acorah' on Granada Breeze which showcased the abilities of psychic medium Derek Acorah, a regular guest on Livetime.

Becky has also recently started presenting a programme for Channel M, called Homesearch

She was born in Hyde, Cheshire (now Greater Manchester) in 1961.
