Mantin started her media career at radio station Broadland 102. She then transferred to television with Anglia Television, firstly solely as a weather girl and then reporting and presenting regional programmes including the short-lived consumer show Late Night Checkout.

Mantin then started to appear on the ITV National Weather, Five, Sky and on This Morning as an occasional reporter. From 25 February 2005 she ceased duties with ITV Anglia, and permanently transferred to the ITV National Weather team working alongside Martyn Davies and Siân Lloyd and replacing Chrissie Reidy who was moved to regional programming with ITV London.

[edit] Personal life

Becky's boyfriend is the Match of the Day football commentator Dan O'Hagan.

A keen surfer, Mantin was struck in the head by a fellow surfer on June 7, 2007 in Cornwall. She was pulled out of the water and initially rushed to hospital with concussion and slight memory loss. While at her parents home in Norwich a week later, she collapsed and was rushed to hospital for a brain scan.[1] Becky returned to ITV screens on 23 August 2007, however Becky was still experiencing dizzy spells and had been signed off work again.

She returned full time early in 2008, and currently presents weather forecasts on ITV1.
