Beckum is a town in the district of Warendorf, in North Rhine-Westphalia, Germany. It is situated approx. 20 km north-east of Hamm and 35 km south-east of Münster.

Industrie in Beckum
In Beckum are some factories. Beckum bruduce cement,machinery bear and Korn. In the passt Beckum was one of the largest zement pruducing areas of the wold. From Beckum cement for example was parts of the Panama canel buieled and the base for the Statue of Liberty in New York. The " Brauhaus Stiefel Jürgens" scince 1680 is the oldest brewery in Westphalia.
