The Beckhams bought the Grade II listed 1930s Georgian style house for £2.5 million in October 1999, soon after their wedding. Its value is now estimated at over £7 million [1].
The house is located within 17 acres of land, in Sawbridgeworth, Hertfordshire, England. Previously, it was a council-owned children's home. Its current residents now employ ex-SAS guards for security.
