Because of You is the third track from Ayumi Hamasaki's mini-album Memorial Address. The lyrics were written by Hamasaki herself.

The PV for Because of You, which won MTV Music Japan's Music Video Award for Best Female Video[1], is one of the seven music videos from the Memorial Address album. Like others of Hamasaki's music videos, the plot is vague, although there is a sub-story in which Hamasaki works as a prostitute, with the man who hired her possibly being the subject of the lyrics[2][3]
In addition, the PV of Because of You is the only one of Hamasaki's live-action videos to incorporate a cartoon.
