Rebecca "Bec" June Hewitt (born Cartwright) (born July 23, 1983 in Blacktown, New South Wales), is an Australian actress.

Hewitt is known for her acting career, as Rebecca Cartwright and later Bec Cartwright, in Police Rescue, Heartbreak High, Water Rats and Totally Wild, and she is best known for her role as Hayley Smith in the soap opera Home and Away. After her marriage to Australian tennis player Lleyton Hewitt she changed her name to Bec Hewitt. Herself and daughter Mia are now travelling with Lleyton as he plays tennis all over the world.

There has been many speculation about why Hewitt has gone into hiding on magazines lately. It explains how Hewitt is living in the suburbs and how she would rather stay at home with her daughter Mia than go to events. It also showed about how her fashion has changed, but the news has passed and has not been on magazines for a while.

Hewitt starred in an episode of Police Rescue in 1992, at the age of 9. She came to prominence when she joined the cast of the Seven Network's soap opera Home and Away in 1998, playing Hayley Smith Lawson. Hewitt remained on the show until August 2005. Although she left the show, her character did not and Ella Scott Lynch took over the role of Hayley.
In 1999 Hewitt was nominated for a Silver Logie for Most Popular New Talent.
She released an album in 2003 and three singles.
Hewitt won the first series of the Australian series Dancing with the Stars in 2004.
Hewitt won the Logie for Most Popular Actress in 2005, an award for which she was also nominated in 2006 along with the Gold Logie for Most Popular Personality.
In November 2006, she returned to TV for Abba Mania. Many Australian artists participated in this programme, and the show was broadcast on Channel Nine.
After leaving Home and Away in 2005, Hewitt had written articles for the magazine Woman's Day.

Bec dated Australian actor Beau Brady for four years (2000-2004) prior to beginning her relationship with tennis star Lleyton Hewitt. After 6 weeks of dating, Lleyton proposed to Bec.
On 5 May 2005, the pair announced that Bec was pregnant.
Her wedding to Lleyton Hewitt was on 21 July 2005. The wedding was at the Sydney Opera House and their reception took place at Taronga Zoo, and was given much media attention.
On 29 November 2005, she gave birth to daughter, Mia Rebecca Hewitt, at Sydney's North Shore Private Hospital.
