Or silly prejudices for that matter. The fact that I'm a US citizen means very little and I am well qualified to edit Australia wine article and remove to factoids that not only run counter to our verification policies but also crosses the line of our WP:ADVERT guidelines as well. Though to answer your question, yes I have had quite a few opportunities to taste Southern Flinders Ranges. In fact I am quite a fan of the Shiraz grapes from the Laura Vineyard. So far Charles Melton makes my favorite. AgneCheese/Wine 22:18, 21 November 2007 (UTC)
[edit] APOLOGY
Hi Agne, I've apologized on your talk page (hope it's in the right place). A little too much wine and I'm off with the pixies. Sincere apologies - sorry. I'll make sure I study all the rules and protocols before attempting another contribution (& if I do, I'll only do so sober) :) Beaum 11:55pm 22/11/2007 ACT
- Apologies accepted but please don't seek my approval for editing the article. Dive right in and add anything that you think is needed. Just keep in mind Wikipedia's policies about citing a reliable source for the sake of verification and to keep it from looking like original research. Our Neutral point of view policies also encourage us to avoid giving the appearance of recommending or promoting things as a sort of advertisement. You may also wish to read the essay Wikipedia:Wikipedia is not a wine guide which sort of explains some of the views of what we are trying to do with the wine articles. I again appreciate the policy and welcome your contributions. Feel free to ask any question over at the Wine Project's talk page where you will find other editors (even some Aussies :>) who will be glad to help. AgneCheese/Wine 13:29, 22 November 2007 (UTC)
