[edit] Fair use rationale for Image:Centurtyclub1.jpg
Thanks for uploading or contributing to Image:Centurtyclub1.jpg. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is not a suitable explanation or rationale as to why each specific use in Wikipedia constitutes fair use. Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale.
If you have uploaded other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on those pages too. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that any non-free media lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. NOTE: once you correct this, please remove the tag from the image's page. This image can be deleted. I will list the fair use rationale from the other image I am using.
[edit] Image copyright problem with Image:Crimemaster.jpg
Thank you for uploading Image:Crimemaster.jpg. However, it currently is missing information on its copyright status. Wikipedia takes copyright very seriously. It may be deleted soon, unless we can determine the license and the source of the image. If you know this information, then you can add a copyright tag to the image description page.
If you have any questions, please feel free to ask them at the media copyright questions page. Thanks again for your cooperation. NOTE: once you correct this, please remove the tag from the image's page. STBotI 16:07, 17 September 2007 (UTC)
[edit] I'm Afraid...
That work which you have made yourself is not eligible for use in an article about a Copyrighted character belonging to a Corporation; therefore, I have nominated both of your Green Goblins ketches for Speedy Deletion, as they are no longer used in any article and have no Fair Use Rationale. And may I also suggest polishing up your style before you submit your work on the Internet again; the Images you provided were badly-drawn sketches of a costume that has not been seen in previous continuity for two decades. If there is a problem using my own artwork I do apologize. I am just learning the rules to this and I do not intend to violate any copyright laws. I would appreciate it if you could tone down your editorial criticisms a little. Obviously you have different tastes than I have. I don't find that Luke Ross image of the Goblin very appealing. It could be that I don't care for that style of art and it's fair to have different tastes. I prefer to Ditko style to the Goblin. While his costume might have been altered over the years, and no doubt will be altered many times in the future, this classic style is the template for the Green Goblin. While there are technical aspects of my drawings that might have various flaws I drew these the way I intended them to look according to what my tastes are.
Regardless of that issue, I'll make sure I understand the rules on putting images up before I make anymore alterations. -beanlynch
Glad to hear it, and sorry if I sounded a bit stern. My apologies. SaliereTheFish 10:53, 20 September 2007 (UTC)
