Talk:Beaver Island Head Light

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

I've been trying to fill in the open stubs on Lighthouses in the United States. Researching this tells me that the definative data about many of these lights is already published by [Terry Pepper]. Editors should comment on the strength / weakness of this presentation (IMHO, 'simple, but not much "here"' vs 'nice synopsis, but most of it's quotations from "others on the web"').

Examples of earlier (items that don't follow this proposed new model) pages are Saginaw River Lighthouse or Fort Gratiot Lighthouse. Charles W. Bash 22:42, 19 September 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Terry Pepper's Research

I support the historical information that Terry Pepper posts on his website and believe that it is accurate. I live here and go to school on the south end of the island where the charlevoix school district took over and made a school. If you need any information on The Beaver Head Lighthouse. I also have updated pictures of the Lighthouse, fog signal and station barn. I'm actually spending the night in the quarters of the lighthouse tonight. I will be glad to provide what accurate information I can. In the meantime, e-mail me at trekko08@yahoo.com if any questions arise. Thank you for your time in reading my comment.
