I've run across this page; and, as an old B&B fan (and former president of a local association), I just have to tackle it. I'm gonna see gradually if I can bulk this sucker out with some good information!

After reading this article, it seems to me that this show suffered from "Mork & Mindy syndrome" to a certain extent (which in this case, caused this show to jump the shark), with the only difference being that M&M lasted longer than this show, and the changes to B&B weren't exactly being done to attract "younger viewers" (LOL). Not only that, but Catherine being killed off was--if you'll pardon the expression--the final nail in the coffin. In any event, my mother loved it when it was originally on.

[edit] Sexual Tension

The article says they had a romantic relationship that 'could never be consummated'... why is that? it sounds like it happened later on anyway.

I'm on the 2007 Con Committee; I removed the old link (we have had problems updating it). We are concentrating on the MySpace page at this point. Greywanderer 18:54, 21 April 2007 (UTC)

"by Senator Joseph McCarthy's House Unamerican Activities Committee" was removed by me. The Senator could not have been involved in a House committee. See their respective wikipedia pages if you want an explanation. I dunno if its an error within the show, or the writers, but it isn't necessary to understand the paragraph, so I deleted it.

[edit] Fair use rationale for Image:Hamilton-perlman-BandB.jpg

Image:Hamilton-perlman-BandB.jpg is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to ensure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If there is other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images lacking such an explanation can be deleted one week after being tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.
