All sections need expanding. Needs references. Temperament section must be fixed to remove the use of second-person pronouns (you), the generally informal tone (contractions such as "isn't" are never to be used on Wiki), and the gender-specific pronouns (he, his) and replace with gender-neutral pronouns (it, its, they, theirs). --Pharaoh Hound (talk) 19:31, 4 January 2007 (UTC)

This dog is not for for the faint of heart. Beaucerons are very intelligent and protective. Similar to the Belgian Malinois, this dog has aggressive tendencies and is not for the "average" dog owner. They need to be socialized very early with both people and other animals.
