Talk:Bearclaw Coffee
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
I am in the very process of completing this article. I saved my work as I was going and apparently an administrator mistook it for a final draft.
The "C" in Coffee should be capitalized. How do we do that? Lance1cj 20:56, 1 August 2007 (UTC)
- I moved the page to the new title. Please note for future reference that article titles are case-sensitive except for the first letter, which is always capitalized. --Finngall talk 21:00, 1 August 2007 (UTC)
What else needs to be done to get rid of the "speedy deletion" heading? 68.40.181.238 21:03, 1 August 2007 (UTC)
- Provide references to reliable sources that are independent of the company itself to show that the company meets Wikipedia's notability guidelines for businesses. --Finngall talk 21:07, 1 August 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Conflict of Interest tag
Article is still clearly written from the point of view of someone involved. Still reads like a Ra-Ra press release. Needs to be about 1/3 - 1/4 as long as it is. Still doesn't meet WP:CORP (not horrible, though). The only two reliable sources (not from within the company) are basically human interest stories about two locals doing good. - Richfife 15:16, 3 August 2007 (UTC)
- I cut the article back and removed the COI tag, but Bearian replaced it with a (slightly different) COI2 tag. I think it's OK in its current stubby form, but I abide by their judgement. - Richfife 16:58, 6 August 2007 (UTC)
The starubucks page explains where the name of their company came from, so why don't you delete that? You deleted my explanation as to where the name came from., and I've been using the Starbucks and Beaners pages as a template to know what I should put on my site. I don't even work for these people, the store just came from my town, I got all the information from the newspaper links on their website. 68.40.190.153 20:35, 6 August 2007 (UTC)
