[edit] Spelling History

Beaver Bank is often misspelled as "Beaverbank" as it was misprinted on provincial signs for much of the 1980s and '90s. After the community rallied together in protest for many years, the province re-issued the signs with the correct spelling. Beaver Bank is still often misspelled as "Beaverbank", but signs, brochures, maps, advertisements, etc. are finally all spelled correctly.
