The Beauvau family is a historic noble family from Anjou, since naturalised in Lorraine, dating back to the 5th century. Its members include marshals, dignitaries of the Order of Malta, ambassadors, ministers, prelates and writers :
- René de Beauvau, who accompanied Charles d'Anjou in 1226 to his conquest of the kingdom of Naples and became his constable.
- Henri de Beauvau, ambassador of the duke of Lorraine at the papal court at Rome at the end of the 16th century.
- René François de Beauvau (1664-1739), archbishop of Toulouse and of Narbonne.
- Marc de Beauvau-Craon (1679-1754), viceroy, administrator of the duchy of Tuscany.
