Beauty School Dropout

Beauty School Dropout were a pop punk band from Glasgow formed in 1995. During their 6 years together, the band toured the UK several times, appeared on various compilations, and released a full-length album entitled Teasing the Fat Kids. Before they split in 2001, 5 new songs were recorded, which were to remain shelved for the next 2 years before being released as part of the Boss Tuneage Instant Singles vol 2 CD. Ex-Dropouts can still be found plying their respective trades in Barefoot and The Day I Snapped.
The band's name came from a song from the musical and film Grease.
