Beatkamp Inc. is a Canadian electronic music record label run by Walter Balys. It was founded in 1989 and incorporated in 2001. The label is home to tech noire acts Dada Pogrom, Sauzeug, Ranlub, Error 144, Watford Underground and Lead Berry Research. All of the Beatkamp video and film work is created internally and is presented on Beatkamp's own video website Bad Wolf TV.[1] Beatkamp invented the tech noire genre and hosts film festivals in Toronto and Reykjavik. Beatkamp is a tech noire film and music record label.
Beatkamp publications have appeared in Givenchy, Kenneth Cole and Skaparinn commercials as well as in live performances at Paris Fashion Week. Producers Anthony Valcic and Phil Western have worked with Beatkamp. Beatkamp releases have also appeared in CFC productions and will be the whole sound track of a feature film set for release in 2008.
