Beast Of Burden is a 37 minute short film produced by Mark Joy Films and Studio 108 and directed by Jack Hartmann.

The film was shot in Richmond, Virginia in December of 2006. It premiered at the Byrd Theater in the spring of 2007 and went on to the film festival circuit winning the Director's Choice award at the Secret City Film Festival and two Honorable Mentions at the Accolade Awards.
